Situated in a prime location along Shrewsbury Avenue, the new Ivy at Shrewsbury Lux Townhomes provide a distinctive private luxury community with numerous nearby amenities. The site was originally the location of a bus maintenance facility and the redevelopment of the area required the installation of a Geo-Seal gas vapor barrier to each of the 61 townhomes.

Edgeboro International Inc. utilized the necessary equipment and labor to install approximately 70,000 ft2 of Land Science Technology’s 60 mil Geo-Seal gas vapor barrier system to each unit footprint. Both the BASE geo-textile and BOND geo-textile protection course utilizes a thermally bonded liner, which provides redundant protection to the 60 mils of spray applied CORE material.

With many tight areas consisting of many banks of penetrations, the spray applied product offers exceptional protection in a time efficient manner. A smoke test confirmed that the system was properly installed and free from defects.
